Rocky Mountain LUXE Puff Poodles purchased all of our original breeding adults from long established AKC registered Standard Poodle breeders who bred the "Simply Red" line.
As a breeder (and as Standard Poodle owners), we now benefit from and build upon all of the hard work and effort by all of the breeders that came before us. They worked hard and spent many, many years establishing these beautiful lines of Standard Poodles.
We continue their work by focusing our "ROCKY MOUNTAIN LUXE PUFF POODLES" breeding program on the "Simply Red" line with our emphasis on their lovely coats, their exceptional ROYAL size and their "oh so sweet" temperaments.

Sula is a Sweet Sweet Sweet Sweet, beautiful ROYAL Brown Female.
She is from a litter from a 90 plus pound father and 75 pound mother, and is a big strong ROYAL girl. Recently her coat has started to fade and is developing into a beautiful ombre coat!
She has a very calm, very mild - non dominant personality, and gets along with just about everyone. She is extremely friendly and playful and knows that every moment is an opportunity to play.
She is a wonderful mother to her puppies.

Bedelia is a big, sweet, wonderful ROYAL girl! Her Hershey's chocolate brown coat is fading into a lovely frosted chocolate frappacino.
She is a very playful and very happy girl. She is active and funny and a just little naughty (which she doesn't mean to be.) Bedelia is FAST (she knows that she is faster than me) and she just loves to cruise the counters for treats the moment she comes inside!
Although she is a big girl, she has a cooperative mid litter temperament and gets along really well with everyone. Best of all, Bedelia is a sweet and doting mother and she passes on her playful nature to her puppies!

Mullally is just the sweetest funniest little girl. She is very happy and energetic, and playful - but oh so gentle. She has very "soft paws" and is extremely careful not to hurt you with them. She is a living teddy bear, she is actually MY teddy bear. She loves to give hugs and has a wonderfully soft dark brown coat, which is showing ZERO fading, is tipped with black and is as thick as they come!

Indigo is a beautiful black female with a quiet and sweet disposition when inside the house, who becomes a rambunctious crazy girl outside. She is a mid litter girl, so she is open, cooperative and friendly and not domineering in any way. She is independent and inquisitive, without being aloof. She just wants to know what's going on ... everywhere ... at all times!
She leaves no corner of the house or yard un-sniffed! She does have a moderate prey instinct.

He is out of Pippy and Ari and is as GORGEOUS as he is loving and sweet. Numi is a GOLDEN "YELLOWSTONE" YELLOW apricot, (did we mention he is GOLDEN YELLOW, as in the color yellow? ) with black points. He looks just like his beautiful chiseled grandmother "Baby" (which is what we were wishing for.)
When he was a puppy, he looked like an elephant walking around with his litter mates. He is VERY TALL, and yet has kept the thin, delicate and beautiful "poodle swoop" ... this boy is ALL SWOOP.
And - chill. What a wonderful temperament, Numi is about as laid back and chilled out as a poodle stud can possibly be.
Numi has a gentle and loving heart and a friendly mid litter personality, even though he was head and shoulders taller than the next largest puppy in his litter, he is not dominant AT ALL and he gets along fabulously with everyone.

Hazel is a very sweet girl who thinks she is "MARGE IN CHARGE." She has an inquisitive and dominant personality and a high prey instinct. She LOVES TO CLIMB (on anything... kennels, counters, over the couch as well as over any barricade.) In her eyes, there is literally nothing stopping her - from anything.
She is S.U.P.E.R. S.M.A.R.T. and blatantly mischievous and independent. Yes, she is smarter than me, and yes, she knows it.
Hazel, although being what I call a "whiff of a poodle" is out of two ROYAL PARENTS (LUXEY and SULA) and produces big babies. She is a very active tomboy at heart and loves to "hang with the boys", where she can completely hold her own and takes no flack whatsoever from them. In fact, she keeps them all in line (and has so much fun doing it!)
You do not have to ask her more than once to do something, (well not usually anyway.) Hazel is all go, go, go, without being "overwhelmingly active" at all. and although she is very independent, she is also very cooperative and wants to make you happy. When she stops, which she does do, Hazel loves to snuggle, give hugs and canoodle. She is truly an excellent canoodler.
She is not frantic or spazzy at all. She is actually very quiet most of the time. So, if you pay attention and listen closely you may just get to hear the soft hazelnut breeze whisper in your ear as she passes stealthily by you, as she happily moves onto her next adventure.

Choteau, our beautiful Rocky Mountain Champagne Creme ROYAL Luxe Puff lover girl, she is out of Bousgie and Luxey. Choteau is 26 plus inches to the shoulder and 74 pounds.
Choteau is such a wonderfully sweet, kind and loving girl, she is truly all things cozy, warm and wonderful. She is our ZEN POODLE. Her heart is as big as they come- so much so that "sugar and spice and everything nice" doesn't even come close to describing how loving and gentle this sweet girl really is!

"Baby", was the smallest puppy out of her litter, a TRUE RUNT - but Baby is now our largest breeding female. Baby is a ROYAL 78 pounds and stands almost 27 inches tall.
We call Baby our ROYAL "Hautey Flokati" with her exceptional size, her beautiful Standard Poodle lines and her fantastic silky double woolen coat. Baby's coat is literally 2 to 3 times as thick as any of our other dogs. Baby is a "big softie" in every sense of the term as her temperament is oh so sweet and her coat has no coarseness to it at all. It is like the softer felted wool.
Baby is a half sister to Bousgie, and she does have grand champion show lines in her pedigree, which are clearly evident as she is so gorgeous. Baby is a true white, with black nose and her clear white coat that has just a whisper of creme on her ears. Most breeders would bleach out the remaining color from her coat, but we think she is perfect just as she is. Baby is a good and loving mother who will happily nurse and take care of any puppy whether or not it is her own. At least two of Baby's previous male puppies have grown to over 90 pounds by the time they were 9 months old... So, if you are looking for - size - size - size - and a very sweet puppy, Baby's litters are the ones to watch.

Pippy is our Wonderful White ROYAL Female out of Luxey and Baby. She is so smart - she KNOWS that she is much smarter than we are and constantly reminds us of that fact! She is also very funny, is such a complete ham, she is always making us laugh - as she is still very much a puppy at heart. Pippy stands 26 3/4 inches to the shoulder and weighs 65 pounds. Pippy produced WONDERFUL HUGE ROYAL BABIES just like her Mama "Baby" does.

"Rocky Mountain Auriferous Fidus Maximus Luxe Puff" - or "Ari" is our big, beautiful Golden Red ROYAL stud.
Ari is a beautiful golden red color and is a big sweet lover boy who likes to snuggle, romp and play. He has the typical "European body type", and is built like a spring with his solid thin muscle mass. He can jump straight up in the air (which is his 2nd favorite thing to do.) He likes to give FULL BODY HUGS and I think he literally thinks he is a person.
Ari was a mid litter puppy from his birth litter, and yet he is still 28 inches to the shoulder and 75 pounds. Ari's father is 103 pounds and his mother is 73 pounds, and so he has the genetics to produce HUGE puppies, and has indeed delivered on that genetic promise (see Numi below.)
Ari is a doting boyfriend to all of his girlfriends. He is very attentive and sweetly waits, kissing and cleaning them, staying right by their side, wooing his beloved with his sweet, sweet ways.
He passes on his PLAYFUL and GENTLE TEMPERAMENT as well as his ROYAL SIZE and GORGEOUS golden red COLOR to his puppies.

"Bousgie" is our "Alpha" ROYAL brown female with her beautiful ombre'd bronze coat, which, when trimmed short is a flashy metallic colour with dark bronze tips on her ears and points. When Bousgie's coat is long - she has the darkest, all but black, mahogany tips on the end of each hair across her back, making her much darker than when she has a short coat (IE she has "sable characteristics.") Bousgie is 26 1/4 inches to the shoulder and she weighs 76 ROYAL pounds!

Luxey is non aggressive, he will happily play with any other non neutered male without any aggression or dominance issues. LUXEY is now 5 years old. He is 28 3/4 inches to the shoulder and he weighs 90 pounds.
LUXEY started out life looking like a fancy little grizzly cub, with his long red coat and brown undercoat. As he matured, his coat turned darker brown. We clipped off all of his remaining red coat in the summer of 2016, and he now has a gorgeous bronze coat.
LUXEY carried brown, chocolate, red, black, blue and creme color genetics. LUXEY has a really good ROYAL height and weight to him and he passed on his ROYAL size, fantastic color, beautiful conformation and bone structure as well as his loving temperament - to all of his offspring.

Teaka is a Big, Square, Dominant Alpha Female (just like her mother) out of Bousgie and Luxey.
She was the biggest female from her litter and was born a "Hershey Bar Reddish Brown, although her coat has faded to a gorgeous pewter colored sable with red tips down her back and an ombre'd cream coat across her chest and down her legs.
Just like her mother Bousgie, her coat is much darker when it is long, than when when it is cut short! She produced Brown, Black, Phantom, Sable and Brindle Puppies when bred with Auriferous. "Minxy" is our oh so rococo black female. She has a gorgeous shiny and feathered chiaroscuro coat with flashy silver highlights just above her paws. Minxy also has the classic delicate Standard Poodle bone structure and is a very pretty girl.
Minxy was 62 pounds, and she stands 25 1/2 inches to the shoulder.
Although Minxy is the smallest of our breeding females, she produced the best of both the "Standard Poodle" and the "Royal Standard Poodle" worlds as she passes on the exceptional ROYAL size genetics, as well as her silky coat and "classic" Standard Poodle bone structure to her puppies. Though we love our Indigo (blue) puppies, those who are looking for a true black puppy, should watch Minxy's litters as her black puppies should remain black, rather than developing into blue.
Minxy is the most obedient of all of our female poodles. There is rarely ever a need to tell her anything twice. Minxy is - body and soul - ALL LOVE. She has the most attentive and kind disposition. Minxy wags her whole body, (not just her tail) and loves you with all that she is.
Minxy is Cashy's full sister, she is 60 pounds though she is almost as tall as Cashy.

She would do best in a home without young children or cats (as she will chase but not harm cats)
Minxy is very attentive and
- oh - did I mention? She is extremely loving!
She would be a great family dog. She could also make a wonderful emotional support animal.
Minxy does every once in a while- do a little "happy pee" ...
so her forever home should be "tinkle tolerant."
It's not all the time- or even every day- but every once in a while she does "leak a little bit" - just like my grandmother used to do when she laughed too hard!
Minxy was 62 pounds, and she stands 25 1/2 inches to the shoulder.
Although Minxy is the smallest of our breeding females, she produced the best of both the "Standard Poodle" and the "Royal Standard Poodle" worlds as she passes on the exceptional ROYAL size genetics, as well as her silky coat and "classic" Standard Poodle bone structure to her puppies. Though we love our Indigo (blue) puppies, those who are looking for a true black puppy, should watch Minxy's litters as her black puppies should remain black, rather than developing into blue.
Minxy is the most obedient of all of our female poodles. There is rarely ever a need to tell her anything twice. Minxy is - body and soul - ALL LOVE. She has the most attentive and kind disposition. Minxy wags her whole body, (not just her tail) and loves you with all that she is.

She is kennel trained at night, but of course she prefers to snuggle in bed with you!
Cashy is a big love muffin and a total mischievous ham! Her favorite sneaky thing to do - is to race inside the house - as fast as she can,
and kick all of the pillows off of the couch before you get inside.
She would do best in a home without young children or cats, and can easily jump a 4 foot fence, so she would need to be in a home with at least a 5 foot fence.
Cashy is confident and independent yet she is very attentive and extremely loving. She would be a great family dog.
She could also make a good emotional support animal - or - because of her size- she could be trained to be a mobility support animal. But Cashy would need training to do that - and should not be expected to know how to be a mobility service dog- without specialized training.
